Assistant Director

I was contracted for several years to serve as the #2 in charge of The Eugene Celebration, the community’s largest festival. It once took over the whole downtown with multiple stages and distinct areas. The first year, I started as the Community Causeway Coordinator.

The second year, I was promoted to Assistant Director. I was charged to create new funding streams. I did this by creating community stages all around the festival and inviting them into the festival event map and schedule. It was very successful and brought in more than 50 unique participating stages.

The third year, I created an area called Sustainability Village with live cob building, a focus on organic food and alternative transportation. This added new funding opportunities to the overall success of the event which enjoyed more than 50,000 visitors each year.

Each year I led booking of all entertainment, and marketing and promotional campaigns. This included many interviews and press releases.
