Flower Farmer and CEO

2020 was a tough year for everyone. I had just purchased a home in Cottage Grove, Oregon with a ½ acre lot on a pretty steep incline. It was covered in ivy, blackberries and fallen trees. I was given a lawn mower and a hoe, so while the world was under lock down, I cleared my property, watched YouTube videos on how to garden and I built my very own specialty cut flower farm and called it The Happy Hill Homestead. I learned to build things, market my flowers and skin care products, and became a full fledged farmer.

  • Sustainably grown blooms sold out each week to eager florists

  • Awarded a prestigious grant to complete a market research study that will benefit many flower farmers to come

  • Hosted weekly u-pick events with artist booths, live music and community
