Owner and CEO
Cindy Ingram Booking & Promotions was my very first business venture. It was quite the leap of faith. I learned as I went along. It sustained myself and my two kids for several years, and I’m still very proud of the many accomplishments of this time in my life. Here are just a few of the many projects and programs I produced:
GRRRLZ ROCK - Celebrating the contribution of women in the arts. More than 30 events during the month of November
KIDZ ROCK - Providing youth bands the opportunity to play the big stages in town, and utilizing the model I created, of a month-long festival, develope for GRRRLZ ROCK
Taking it to the Streets - Sponsored by Eugene Weekly, where I managed dozens of musicians throughout the city, busking on street corners to bring families downtown
Summer in The City- Sponsored by City of Eugene Cultural Services, to activate Kesey Square. I closed down the streets to build temporary skate parks, stages and huge fashion shows
Eugene Chosen, EWEB Earth Day Festival, UO Women’s Center OUT LOUD Festival, Bicycle Music Festival, Puppet Shows, Comedy Shows and live music of all genres
Band Management - I had a roster of over 30 bands for which I handled all of their booking, took band photos, wrote bios and all PR and advising
Venue Booking Contracts - I handled all entertainment booking for multiple venues in the Eugene area including: Sam Bond’s Garage, Diablos Downtown Lounge, The Wetlands, and occasional shows at many more venues throughout the Willamette valley
The Oregon Country Fair -Assisting Linda Dievendorf with booking the 4 solar stages, providing stage management and coordinating the in-and-out crew for musicians and ambient performers
Harmony Event Medicine - Volunteered at many events and festivals to provide mental health and harm reduction services including Art in the Vineyard, Cuthbert Amphitheater, McDonald Theater, Pickathon and NW String Summit
Created and managed the new Music Industry Network of Eugene (MINE) to help local musicians get media coverage by partnering with local journalists, providing educational workshops and panels.
